2024 Conference

October 24-26, 2024 is our 4th Annual ACHHS Conference! Please make plans to join us for this amazing fellowship of believers in health and human services! Check-in and worship/welcome reception with appetizers will be on Oct 24th, 6-7pm followed by a Keynote address. Friday will be workshops, followed by another Keynote over boxed lunch (covered with your registration fees), and more workshops, then bible study options. The program ends Oct 26th @12n with an optional group outing to the Museum of the Bible @1:30pm (a pre-conference group outing to the MOTB is also available for purchase). Make your plans to join us in the Washington, D.C., area. The conference site is at the Springhill Suites Dulles (IAD) airport so you will want to fly into IAD Dulles airport and catch the hotel shuttle. Conference Registration

• General Admission -member: $200 –> Early Bird only $150 by May 31st
• General Admission -nonmember: $250/nonmember (includes a free 6 months free membership) –> Early Bird only $200 by May 31st
• Discounted Group Rates: Groups of 3 or more can register for 20% off nonmember registration each (use coupon code for each member: GROUP)
• Special students and spouse rates: $50/pp (plus new students in hhs receive 6 months free membership)
• Workshop Presenter discounted registration: $120/pp (submit by April 30th)
• Friday-only registration (includes boxed lunch): $95/pp

Add-ons:

• CEU/CE certificate from ASWB CE program: $40/certificate for up to 10 CEs
• Group tickets to the Museum of the Bible, pre-conference or post-conference: $20 (normally $29.99), all ticketing fees included.

As some people are having difficulty with the Square online registration ticketing site, here are some special instructions. Click on the register now link found on this page. Click on one or more items from the pull down menu. Click on the blue attend button at the bottom. Then click on the top right hand corner checkout cart icon. Choose your payment. With square, you can click on the check as a guest to enter your credit card or Paypal information.

You will not see these deep discounts again, so register now.

FINANCIAL AID/SCHOLARSHIP: Do you want to attend but can’t afford the full registration? Please email admin@achhs.org to apply for a full or partial scholarship for conference registration.

DISABILITY/SPECIAL NEEDS: The conference site has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible. If you require special accommodations for your disability, please make your specific request to admin@achhs.org at least 4 weeks prior to the conference opening to allow us time to make the adjustments or find accommodations.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We honor a full refund of your registration fees if you need to cancel at least 30 days prior to the event. No refunds are available for cancellations after September 24, 2024.

Workshops

We are currently accepting workshop proposals until April 30, 2024. Workshop tracks include: Direct Practice, Student Track, Social Justice, Macro, Clinical, Advocacy, Research, Higher Education, Cultural Competence, Community Organization, Ethics and Faith/Spirituality, Spirituality and Services Delivery. Workshops with a Biblical worldview are included at our conference. Conference objectives: 1) provide educational workshops and sessions that allow room for Biblical faith, 2) provide an opportunity for attendees to network with and learn from professionals in other disciplines, and 3) provide inspiration and practical tools to continue pursuing/working in your profession to serve clients/patients.
