Presenter Kat Elias, LCSW, is the co-host and producer of “The Rooted and Edified Show,” a Conservative Christian Podcast. She founded BeYOUtifully Rooted, a Mental Health & Education Ministry for women, and is currently on the Board for The Association of Christians in Health and Human Services (ACHHS). Kat has been in the social work field for 20 years, with the majority of her focus in Medical Social Work. She has her certificate in Apologetics and lives with her hubby in CA. They have a blended family with 7 children.

The webinar presentation will explore these two questions:
  1. What does a Biblical pursuit of perfection look like?

  2. What does the Greek term “teleios” mean? And, why should we care?!
Moderator Kim Parker, EdD, LCSW-S, is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of ACHHS. She has worked in social work for 25+ years in community mental health, foster care/adoptions, and private practice. She is an American of Asian descent. As a former refugee who was sponsored to immigrate to America by a Lutheran Church, Kim is passionate about Christian faith, Biblical inerrancy, truth & grace. The author of a self-help memoir, East Meets West: Parenting from the Best of Both Worlds, Kim also teaches adjunct at Indiana Wesleyan University.
